Enterprise AI Visibility Platforms: Scrunch AI, Profound & XFunnel Compared

TL;DR

This post compares three enterprise AI visibility platforms. Scrunch AI tracks brand presence across nine AI engines and includes an optimization layer that helps AI systems read and cite your content. Profound is the only fully independent option of the three, with daily updates across 18+ countries and an expanding agent automation layer. XFunnel was a managed-service GEO partner that was acquired by HubSpot and is no longer available as a standalone product.

Key Insights

  • Scrunch AI and XFunnel have been acquired in the past year. Scrunch was acquired by Sitecore in June 2026 for $225M, and XFunnel was acquired by HubSpot in October 2025 for $30M. Neither is a fully independent platform anymore.
  • Profound remains independent, with $155M in total funding and unicorn status at a $1B valuation. It is the only fully standalone option of the three as of mid-2026.
  • Profound’s Starter plan at $99/month is accessible, but the Growth plan at $399/month is where the platform’s enterprise capabilities really shine.
  • Scrunch AI continues to operate as a standalone platform post-acquisition, but enterprise buyers should factor Sitecore’s roadmap into their vendor decision.
  • XFunnel’s standalone pricing is effectively gone. The pricing page now shows only a free audit and an unpriced Enterprise tier. Teams that relied on it are migrating to alternatives.
  • Enterprise AI visibility has evolved. The question is no longer whether to track AI search, but which platform connects visibility data to execution.

Search Influence is a digital marketing agency that evaluates enterprise AI SEO platforms to help brands make smarter decisions about AI visibility.

Scrunch AI, Profound, and XFunnel have been the most common names on enterprise AI visibility shortlists over the past 18 months. All three have changed significantly in that time. Here’s where each one stands today and how to decide which one fits your team.

When Do You Need Enterprise AI Visibility?

Not every team needs an enterprise-tier AI visibility platform. The budget tools we covered in our guide to AI SEO tracking tools under $50 are sufficient for teams just starting to measure AI search presence.

Enterprise-tier platforms earn their place when:

  • You’re tracking multiple brands, product lines, or markets simultaneously
  • You need coverage across five or more AI platforms
  • Leadership requires structured AI visibility KPIs
  • Revenue attribution from AI traffic matters beyond basic brand mention awareness
  • Compliance requirements apply, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2 Type II
  • You need to move from tracking to execution and close the loop between visibility gaps and content action

If two or more of those apply, you’re in enterprise territory. If you’re still figuring out which prompts matter for your business, start with our decision framework before committing to a platform at this price tier.

The Three Contenders

Scrunch AI: $250/month (now a Sitecore company)

Note: Scrunch AI was acquired by Sitecore on June 3, 2026, for approximately $225M. The platform continues to operate as a standalone product, but enterprise buyers should factor in Sitecore’s roadmap and ecosystem when evaluating vendors.

Scrunch AI built its reputation as an early enterprise option for AI visibility tracking. Starting at $250/month for the Core plan, with custom Enterprise pricing above that, it now covers nine AI platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Meta AI, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, and Grok. That’s among the broader sets of coverage in the category.

The platform’s main differentiator is its Agent Experience Platform (AXP), which goes beyond tracking to optimize content for AI consumption. Scrunch generates an AI-optimized version of your site that AI agents can read and cite more effectively. That execution layer is what sets Scrunch apart from pure monitoring tools and likely drove Sitecore’s interest in acquiring it.

Scrunch raised $26M across a seed and Series A before the Sitecore acquisition. It now operates with Sitecore’s resources behind it, which accelerates product development but also introduces platform dependency that standalone buyers should weigh.

Strength: Deep execution layer through AXP, bot traffic analysis, configurable personas, and 9-engine coverage in one platform. Trusted by 500+ brands, including Lenovo and Penn State University.

Limitation: No longer an independent company. Enterprise procurement teams evaluating long-term vendor relationships should understand how Sitecore’s roadmap affects Scrunch’s standalone trajectory. Refresh rate is approximately every three days, not daily.

Best for: Brands already in the Sitecore DXP ecosystem, or teams that want both tracking and AI-driven content optimization in a single platform and are comfortable with the acquisition context.

Profound: $99/month Starter, $399/month Growth (independent)

Profound has raised $155M in total funding, including a $96M Series C at a $1B valuation led by Lightspeed. It is the first unicorn in the GEO category and the only fully independent enterprise platform of the three reviewed here.

Pricing starts at $99/month for the Starter plan, which covers 50 prompts across ChatGPT. The Growth plan at $399/month expands to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews with 100 prompts and content generation tools. Enterprise plans are custom-priced and cover 10+ AI engines, including Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Microsoft Copilot, and more, across 18+ countries and 20+ languages.

Profound’s Conversation Explorer gives teams real-time insight into AI answer engine search volumes and how their brand appears across those answers, pushing beyond simple mention tracking into share-of-voice analysis. The platform has also introduced Profound Agents, autonomous marketing agents that handle content creation, campaign execution, and AI trend monitoring.

Profound serves more than 10% of the Fortune 500, with named clients including Target, Walmart, Figma, MongoDB, Ramp, and U.S. Bank. It has been named a representative vendor in Gartner’s first Market Guide for Answer Engine Visibility Tools.

Strength: Daily updates, 18+ country coverage, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance, real prompt volume data drawn from 1.3 billion user conversations, and an expanding agent layer that moves from insight to execution.

Limitation: Starter plan is limited to ChatGPT only. Full multi-engine enterprise coverage requires Growth or Enterprise tier pricing. The credit-based model for Profound Agents adds variable costs worth monitoring.

Best for: Enterprise and upper mid-market brands that need daily cross-market AI visibility data and rigorous compliance, particularly teams looking for a platform that is actively expanding into autonomous execution.

XFunnel: Enterprise pricing via HubSpot (no longer standalone)

Note: XFunnel was acquired by HubSpot on October 31, 2025. Standalone accounts are being migrated into HubSpot’s ecosystem. The XFunnel pricing page currently shows only a free audit and an unpriced Enterprise tier. No self-serve plans are available.

XFunnel was one of the first GEO-native platforms built as a managed service. Founded by Neri Bluman and Beeri Amiel in January 2025, it scaled from launch to acquisition in under 10 months. HubSpot acquired it to strengthen AEO capabilities inside Marketing Hub.

The platform’s approach centered on strategy, experimentation, and optimization playbooks rather than dashboards. Instead of handing teams raw visibility data, XFunnel’s analysts worked alongside clients to identify which prompts drove AI mentions and developed content and affiliate strategies to improve share of voice.

Strength: The managed-service model was genuinely differentiated. For teams without dedicated GEO expertise, having an analyst layer on top of the data was a meaningful advantage. Named clients included HubSpot, Monday.com, Wix, and Fiverr.

Limitation: No longer available as a standalone purchase. Teams evaluating XFunnel today are evaluating HubSpot’s Marketing Hub, not an independent GEO platform. If you’re not already a HubSpot customer, this is effectively off the table as a discrete tool.

Best for: Organizations already running HubSpot Marketing Hub who want XFunnel’s AEO capabilities folded into an existing subscription. Teams looking for an independent managed-service GEO partner should evaluate alternatives.

Also Consider

Advanced Web Ranking: $99/month

Advanced Web Ranking is worth a look for enterprise SEO teams that want AI Overviews tracking integrated into existing SERP history data. Its strength is depth on Google AI Overviews. Years of historical data allow for a before-and-after analysis that purpose-built GEO tools can’t replicate.

Best for: Enterprise SEO teams already using AWR for traditional rank tracking who want AI Overviews data in the same platform. Not a substitute for cross-platform AI visibility tracking. For a fuller comparison of how AWR fits alongside other traditional SEO platforms with AI features, see our SEO platforms breakdown.

Peec AI: €89/month Starter

Peec AI is a European-first option worth considering for organizations with GDPR requirements or a strong European market focus. Starter plans begin at €89/month, with Pro at €199/month and Enterprise at €499/month and above. The platform raised $29M in total funding, including a $21M Series A in November 2025 led by Singular.

One important nuance: base plans cover three AI engines. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews are included, while Claude, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, and Grok are available as paid add-ons at roughly €20-30/month each. Full coverage requires either an Enterprise plan or stacking add-ons. Unlimited user seats across all plans is a genuine advantage for larger teams.

Best for: European enterprises with GDPR compliance requirements and teams that need unlimited user seats. For global brands needing broad multi-engine coverage out of the box, the add-on model is worth factoring into total cost before committing.

How to Evaluate ROI on Enterprise AI Visibility

The hardest part of enterprise AI visibility is the attribution.

The metrics that matter are citation share (how often your brand appears versus competitors across tracked prompts), mention sentiment (whether AI systems describe your brand positively, negatively, or neutrally), and revenue attribution from AI-referred traffic. Profound’s Conversation Explorer and Scrunch’s AXP both connect visibility data to these downstream outcomes, which is part of what separates enterprise platforms from budget trackers.

The attribution problem is real regardless of which platform you use. As we covered in detail in our post on AI search KPIs, AI clicks often appear as Direct traffic in GA4 rather than as referrals. Your AI visibility improvements may be driving revenue that your current reporting attributes elsewhere. Profound addresses this through CDN-level crawler monitoring and AI referral tracking, but no platform fully solves it.

Research from Rand Fishkin and Patrick O’Donnell at SparkToro found that the same prompt run twice produces the same brand list less than 1% of the time. ROI measurement in AI visibility requires 90+ days of trend data, not point-in-time snapshots. Whatever platform you choose, evaluate it on its ability to surface patterns over time, not individual data points.
